Xander Tricker pulled off his dark red jacket as he entered his garage. He hung it up on a hook in the corner. He looked at the vehicles he had in his garage. He was fixing a buggy for a man living in the desert, he had to replace some parts for another buggy for an artifact hunter, and he was fixing a jet board for a teenage boy.
He sighed. He looked at his buggy. It was black with red decals. He skimmed his hand over. It needed washed. Dust was caked on the bottom. He looked out into the desert. Audra Negron, his most important client, should be here soon. He had new upgrades for her racing buggy.
he went over to his work bench. The jet board was sitting there. One of the hovers had been torn off. He sat on his stool and started to fix it. He pulled a cigarette out of his pocket and lighted it with a lighter. He puffed a ring of smoke and went back to work. Waiting for Audra to pull in.

A dark purple buggy with blue flames ripped through the deasert sand. A cloud of dust trailed behind, the only cloud in the entire deasert.
Audra smiled as she spotted Xander's shop that sat on the edge of the deasert. She pulled in and hopped out of the cockpit and walked over to Xander.
"Still puffin on those cancer sticks I see?" She said playfully to the man as she watched him fix a jetboard.

"You know I could easily drop you as a client?" Xander joked. He took the cigarette out of his mouth and held it between his fingers. "But I'm not going to." Xander told her. He turned around to face her. Dirt was all over her cloak. "Have you been racing today? Never mind. The reason I needed to talk to you is because i have new upgrades."
He exited his garage and went into his small storage room. He brought out a coil. "This is a speed boost. Best boost in the world of racing. This will increase your speed by 50 miles. But it uses up alot of gas. I recommend not using it on sharp turns." He set it on the workbench.
He sued his mind to bring out the new engine. The new engine started to float through the air and landed on the workbench. "And this is your new engine. It was expensive so don't blow it out like you did the other one."

"Ya but it wasn't entirely my fault." She said with a slight smile on her face as she looked as Xander. "The engine just spontaniously combusted," Audra said rolling her eyes thinking back to that distant race.
"So if i got this right, speed coil uses up gas, don't use it on turns. Expensive engine don't make it explode. Got it!" She said looking over the engine on Xander's desk. "looks expensive." She mumbled as she tutched the cold metal.

"Believe me....it was." Xander told her looking over his shoulder. "You can thanks me when the tournament starts."
Xander told her. He put the cigarette in his mouth. "And I have one more surprise."
He went over to a shelf and climbed it to the top one. He grabbed the key from under a box and hid it behind his back. He walked toward Audra and held the key in front of her face.

"A key?" She asked wondering what the key went to. What is he going to do now? She asked herself as she staired at the shiney key being wiggled in front of her face.

"Yeah a key to your new buggy." Xander told her, laying the key in her hand. Audra's mouth dropped to the floor. "Yes, well....i didn't want you scratching up your racing buggy while your hunting for artifacts. I don't want you blowing the engine out either. "Follow me." Xander walked into the back of his garage.
He espied the buggy underneath the dark black cloak. Xander went over and pulled off the cloak off. It reveled a low setting buggy that was painted a golden yellow. One the front it had a small writing. It black it said "Audra Negron". "Well, do you like it?"

Audra was practicly speachless, the buggy was absolutely beautiful. She looked at Xander and gave him a huge hug.
"Oh my god, thank you, its beautiful." She said to him pulling out of the hug. "Wanna help me take her for a ride?" She asked dangleing the key in front of his face. I bet he would like nothing mor then to just hear this baby purr. She thought as she smiled at him wateing for his reply.

"Hell yeah!" Xander replied, surprised by Audra's hug.
Audra jumped into her new car as Xander jogged to his. He jumped in and pulled his goggles over his eyes. He started the engine. The buggy sprung to life and his mouth slowly turned up into a smile.
Tray Quinn got to a stop in front of Xander Tricker's garage with his borrowed buggy. He stood up in it.
"Oh, y'all didn't tell me you was having a party!" He laughed. "Well come on suckers! I'll race you two to Waterfall Canyon, whoever is last has to buy us lunch!" Tray challenged. He had his goggles on. He saw Xander laugh and nod his head. He saw Audra back in her new buggy.

Audra smiled her competitive smile and looked at Tray. "Your on!" She yelled as she peled out of the garage smoke coming from her new tires. She passed Tray and gave a small smerk as she passed into the open dessert her moter rummbleing thunderously, matching the rythmatic beating of her heart.

"Ah, hell no!" Tray yelled. "That white girl is crazy!!" He got into his buggy and sped to get close to Audra.
Xander followed Tray out and soon they had a line of three cars. Sand was flying this way and that from the skidding tires. Xander made his way to the front. "Come on, Audra!" He yelled out. "I thought you were supposed to be the racer!"

"I know you just didn't go there!" She said as she pushed her foot down on the gas petal. A smile crawled across her face as she leaned forward and watched Xanders buggy join Tray's in the rear veiw mirror.
"Your gonna have to drive faster Xander!" She teased as her buggy vaulted up over a dune and disapered from the other racers sites.

Tray sped past Audra and flipped her the middle finger. He laughed and continued his way toward the Waterfall Canyon. He saw Audra in the review mirror and sped up.
Xander was behind but was determined to get up to the front. He saw a hill and how it broke away. he was gonna jump it and be in the front. He reared next to it and then got up to full speed. He jumped the hill and got in front of Tray. He laughed as he saw Tray flip the middle finger.

"Hell no!" Audra exclamed as she saw that she had lost the lead. She pushed her foot harder on the gas petal and watched the sand leap and dance behind her buggy. With a cuckle she zoomed past Tray's buggy a playful smile on her face as she looked over and gave a wave. "Eat my sand!" She yelled as she cought up to Xander's buggy.
"If you pull over now I won't have to go invisable ninja on your arse!" Audra yelled over the roar of her and Xander's engine as they sped over the dunes.

"It's not gonna happen, Audra!" Xander yelled over the engines as he sped to keep up with her. Once they passed the dunes, the Canyon was only a few minutes away. And Xander didn't wanna buy lunch.
Tray was feeling lucky. He knew there was one way he was gonna win. He pressed the gas pedal harder as he came up by Audra. He approached the dunes and jumped off of the jump. "Whooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!" He screamed as he fell to the ground and raced by Audra and Xander. "Crazy white people." He muttered to himself as he flipped them both off.
Xander laughed as Tray sped past them and held his finger up. He turned his head to Audra. "What the hell is up with Tray and that finger?" he laughed.

Audra chuckled as Tray gave her the finger. " I think Tray is trying to show us his IQ level." She pounded her foot all the way down on the gas. Audra had been babying the buggy the whole way just to mess with the boys. "Time to see what this thing can really do." With a loud whoop she sped past Xander with a cocky little smile.
As she caught up to Tray she waved, knowing that he could see her through his rear veiw miror. " I'm comein' to get ya!" Audra yelled her cloak wipping behind her.

Xander laughed and sped up to catch Tray and Audra. He finally caught up to them but they were already at Waterfall Canyon. He sighed and smiled, he was gonna have to buy lunch. And have Tray boast in his ear all day about how he lost. "Lovely," he muttered to himself as his buggy came to a stop by Tray and Audra's.
Tray stopped at the entrance right after Audra. He popped out of his buggy. "Well, I didn't get first place, but at least I don't have to buy lunch. Ha ha!" He jumped out of his buggy and started to dance. He stopped and looked at Audra. "I gotta give it to you, your gonna make one hell of a racer if you keep this up." Tray said smacking Audra's hand.
Xander stopped and got up form his seat. He lifted his goggles up and placed them on his head. "Nice racing, Audra. Tray not so much." he smiled sarcastically. "So, where you guys wanna go to lunch?"

Audra hopped out of her buggy a grin on her face and went to give Tray a high five. " Whoooooohoooooooo! Xander you really weren't lyin' 'bout that thing, its a real beauty!" She exclamed leaning ageast the side of the buggy whipeing her brow with the sleeve of her cloak.
"Tray it's up to you where ya wanna go, I really don't care as long as there is a form of food there." Audra said her stomach letting out a growl. "Ya better choose quick too." With a giggle she awaited Trays reasponse.

Xander jumped out of the buggy and looked at Audra. "I knew you'd like it." Xander said with a smile. "Where we going Tray?" he asked his friend that was standing by Audra.
"Let me think," Tray said, scratching his chin just to look like a cocky freak. "Let's go to that place in the Outlander's City. I forget what it's called, though. I'll point to it when we get there. Sound good?"
"Fine with me." Xander shrugged. "Audra?"

"Sounds good to me . . . as long as there is food I'm fine." Audra smiled and pushed some of her dark blue hair out from her face and looked down at her belly as it let out another growl. "Eh I'm game you guys ready?" She asked hopping back into her buggy entusiasm etched across her face.
"Cause I know I am!"
