The wind rustled the leaves of the trees as Analeigh pulled into Waterfall Canyon on her zoomer. The garage door swung open and Analeigh pulled in. She got out and ran up the stairs to her house. A hard day in the Outlander's City and she couldn't wait to shift.
Analeigh flipped a light on as it lit up the kitchen and the front room as she could see the dark woods outside the large glass windows. She threw her purse on the kitchen counter and took off her silk jacket. She pulled her hair as she ran back down the stairs and out the door to the forest.
Analeigh stopped in the clearing off some trees as she could hear the crash of the waterfall a few miles away. She felt the wind tug at her hair and sighed. She closed her eyes and could feel herself starting to shift when she heard a twig snap. her eyes popped open and she looked around. She could sense and smell someone else. "Who's there?" She asked.

Robert flew along on his hoverboard. Now that he had it fixed up he could use it for longer without over heating or it losing altitude. He always came to the Waterfall Canyon to shift, the pleasant call of the forest always welcomed him like an old friend who'd always return. He'd left his bag at the hotel back in the city but here he felt at home. He was so hung up on the view that he forgot to check the area for other scents. However the view of the sky turning into a magenta moon was to captivating. Then he realised he'd over stepped his bounds when he heard the woman's voice ring out.
"Who's there?" The voice called out.
Robert was tempted to just walk off and leave, but he caught an underlying scent to the woman. Wolf. He decided to investigate. Walking out of the bushes behind him he stood and looked in front of him. There was a very modern house and a woman standing in front. He raised his hands and smiled.
"I mean no harm, I was just going for a midnight stroll little wolf"

Analeigh turned to her right and saw the boy. He looked a few years younger than her and the scent was somewhat different then the usual human. Maybe...he wasn't. Analeigh gulped as he said "little wolf".
"What..." Analeigh stuttered as she started toward him. "Are you..." Analeigh was cautious as she said it. "A werewolf?"

Robert lowered his hands slowly. He didn't have to be submissive he was an alpha wolf. However he liked to be friendly an preferred not to flaunt his authority. It also reminded him to much of his family.
"Yes I am, Allow me to introduce myself. I am Robert Rowanwood, born alpha of the Rowanwood Pack."
He gave a mock bow. And winked at her.
"And who might you be?"

A smile formed on Analeigh's mouth as he bowed. She chuckled and walked toward him. "I'm Analeigh. Analeigh Freeman." She said as she extended her hand. She was pretty surprised he was so upfront and open about being a werewolf. Analeigh was surprised and somewhat excited she had met another werewolf like herself.
Analeigh dwelled that he was an Alpha. Her eyes widened and her smile turned into a grin. She stood in front of him with her hand extended as she thoughts as he said Alpha. She wondered about how he said "pack". Analeigh knew what an Alpha was and the main outline of a pack, but she wasn't exactly sure what a pack entitled. Was it like a job? Or was it like a family? Analeigh didn't want to pump Robert for answers.

Robert took her hand and gave it a firm shake. He already like this woman. She didn't insult or shout at him because of his outrageous humour but instead played along with a smile and a grin. He let go of her hand and stepped back a bit. He raised his eyebrow and asked.
"So this obviously isn't a midnight stroll for you? I'm guessing it's involving a run on all fours?" He couldn't help but laugh at his own outragousness. He loved this area as a place to run and he'd happily share. Maybe that's why he wanted to claim this place as his own and for his pack.
"May I join you?"

Analeigh smiled and stepped back as he let go of her hand. She was already starting to like this guy, Funny and he was friendly. She started to walk toward a tree as he talked. "Yes, it's more of a midnight shift, then a midnight stroll i guess." Analeigh chuckled.
Robert asked if he could join. Analeigh turned back to him. "I'd be delighted." She smiled. She twirled behind the tree and closed her eyes as she could feel her body changing into the wolf. She was shorter now and her vision was more crisp. She had light gray fur that blew in the wind. She stepped out from the tree and looked around for Robert.

He laughed at her play of words. A midnight shift. Hmm he had to tell he about his lunar joke first. He ran back to the bushes we he first emerged and threw his clothes onto the ground. He began to shift quickly and painlessly as only an alpha could, his fastest change was in 20 seconds however that was in an emergency. He braced himself and let the flow of his muscles ripple as they changed from human to lupine. Fur sprouted in the place of hair, a muzzle grew were his mouth was and finally the paws and his legs began to change. Were once Robert Rowanwood now stood a great black wolf. He jumped back out of the bushes lifting his nose high in the air. These were his woods. His pack's woods no matter what happened this would always be his home. We're he nearly died but was saved my a she-wolf. Were he lived with the normal wolves for a year. This was his place.
He padded over back to the house and gave the light grey wolf, a big wolfy smile.

Analeigh smiled as she padded past the Alpha and deeper into the woods. She let the wind ripple through her fur as she looked up at the moon that was glowing high in the sky. She jumped over to a log and walked across the small stream that broke away from the waterfall. She made her way to the other side and turned around to see if he was following.
She grinned and decided to take off into the woods to see if the Alpha was quick enough to catch her.

Carlton ran through the lush woods in the Waterfall Canyon. He loved to run as a wolf. So much power and speed. He loved it. When he was a wolf, he felt closer to his father. The one dear family member that he loved so dearly.
He grinned as he stopped on a cliff and howled at the full moon. He skated down the cliff's side on his paws as the waterfall's mist sprayed him. He stopped suddenly when he saw two other wolves in the distance.

Robert stretched and watch as Analeigh ran off in a playful chase. Well she was going to be sorley disapointed if she thought he wouldn't be able to catch her. He was faster and stronger than a normal werewolf. He couldn't help but bound after her through the tangle of the under growth jumping and ducking between trees and branches and the occasional log, he quickly found his way only slightly behind her. Then he flanked to the left on her side and ran beside her. It was off in the distance he heard a wolf howl to the joys that the moon brings. He jumped to the left knock Analeigh over.

Analeigh looked back and saw Robert catching up. This was where Analeigh's powers came in handy. She stepped up her powers as she kept up with the Alpha. She knew normal wolves wouldn't even dream of even trailing him.
She started to get tired as she heard another wolf howl. She wondered who it was. She never really saw other wolves before in this area except Robert, just tonight. When Robert tried to knock her, Analeigh stopped and looked around the forest. She wanted to find that other wolf. She looked back to see if Robert was still running. Analeigh looked around and continued to follow Robert.

A bronze colored wolf roamed the wood. She could feel them as the earth told her where they were. With a grace extremw for even wolves, she ran close to them, trying to get thier scents. It was confusing, but she went closer and closer. She didnt reconize any of the scents, but she kne she would nver forget them.

Robert continued to run past Analeigh the thrill of finding a new wolf was overwhelming he hoped that Analeigh would keep up and follow him too. He kept his tongue out as he ran to make sure not to overheat himself. He jumped through the bush in front of him. it wasn't his smartest idea. Now he'd made a gaping whole in it and most of the leaves and prickly pines were stuck in his black fur. When he turned to run he smelt that the wolf was close. However he didn't realise how close until....WHAM. He'd charged straight into something head first and fell back a bit sitting on his haunches looking a bit dazed he stared at the wolf he ran into.

Sage whipped around to face the wolf that had run into her. She growled for a moment, then looked at him. He was sitting there, dazed and probably hurt. With a wolfish sigh she put her nose to the air. There were a few herbs nearby that would help. Carefully she picked them and set them by the wolf. With a short bark she motioned for him to eat them. I wonder if I should turn into my other self She wondered. Her wolf sister paused for a moment before adding her opinion.

Analeigh backed up a little when Robert ran into the new wolf. She couldn't tell if that was the wolf who howled or not, but she didn't look very friendly.
Analeigh growled back at her when she growled at Robert and formed into a stance. She wasn't afraid to fight the wolf. And she didn't want Robert getting hurt either, though she didn't think Robert was weak.

Robert felt slightly dizzy but he knew it would pass quickly, the other wolf was telling him to eat the herbs. He didn't need them. It wasn't him trying to be a show off but he honestly didn't. He tried politely as he could to tell the other wolf that he'd be fine in a few seconds. Then he saw Analeigh take a challenging stance to protect him. He was a leader he didn't need protecting and though he didn't like flaunting it he needed to prove he was capable himself. Rising back onto all fours he padded in front of Analeigh. And gave her a quick bark telling her that the sentiment was appreciated but she need not protect him. He looked at the new wolf head on. It was a slight challenge, one that dictated if the other was friendly or not. So he gave a low whine saying he didn't mind other wolves in his territory but wanted her to explain who she was.

Analeigh backed up as she eased out of her stance. She could smell and sense the other wolf they heard howling somewhere. She thought she would go find him...or her. When Robert turned his back Analeigh searched around the moon lite forest. She could smell the wolf and started to run toward the scent of the wolf.
Analeigh ran across the log over the river until she was back at her house. She wasn't sure why the scent had lead her back here. She couldn't see the wolf anywhere.

Carlton stopped when he padded across a large house. He grinned. it looked nice, high tech. And he couldn't see anybody in it from the large windows. He smiled and thought it would be okay to do a little snooping.
He walked into the garage past the nice looking zoomer and up the open door into the staircase. The house was nice. It was well kept. He padded into the bedroom. He could smell the scent of a woman. No one he knew. He continued to venture around the house.

Sage gave a wolfy sigh. She would have to change so that she could tell him what was happening. Carefully she stood up onto her back legs. Her form went misty, and then she was there. Her skin was olive colored at the moment. Her red robelike shirt and tan pants had come back though. She smiled at The wolf in front of Her. " Im geussing by the reaction, this is your territory. I'm not here trying to steal it, just looking for herbs. She smiled, her long bronze colored hair swaying unbound in the wind. " My name is Sage Zivaen. "
