Weak fools, all of them Thought the man as he lifted one of the four people that had been on the ground. His grey eyes bore into the man as a sick smile spread across his face.
"Well then, that wasn't as fun as I had anticipated. I wonder, can you think if something more entertaining to pass the time?" Rastal asked with a chuckle.
He had found the four drunk buddies walking home, and after month of inactivity, this was like someone dropping a bunch of puppies in a sack at his doorstep. Quickly stunning them with his weapon set at a wide dispersal, Rastal had then unleashed himself upon them. Now only two lived, and one was struggling in his grasp.
Rastal let his gaze drift to the man laying on the ground and he smile again seeing a resemblance to the man in his grasp and the lump on the ground.
"Family perhaps?" Rastal asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Maybe a brother." He added as he walked over and dragged his quarry along with him.
"You know, a body is such a frail thing." Rastal said as he held his hand palm out to face the man laying on the ground.
"For example, a small kinetic burst at the right spot..." He trailed off as an odd high-pitched noise sounded and an odd vibration was felt. The man's kneecap exploded as he screamed in agony.
"...And you can produce the most wonderful of sounds." he continued as he began to relish the expression on the face of the man in his grasp.
Rastal continued his little 'game' and when he left, the two brothers were barely alive. They hadn't seemed worth the effort to dispose of, and having disabled them so they could only share their pain and helplessness brought a warm sensation to the pit of Rastal's stomach
I've been inactive for a long time it seems. Well perhaps it is time for me to start extending my options for hunting grounds. The slums can only offer so much. He thought as a toothy grin appeared on his face while he walked bathed in the moonlight and the crimson stains of his prey
