[Jyo]

On one roof of a house in Navalen something like a door of mist appeared before exploding without sound and from the center appeared an odd looking being. He was purple with white hair. A pair of bat like wings grew from his back. His eyes scanned the city below as he flashed a fanged grin as he spread his wings and flew down to the streets and buzzed a few people on his way.

"Hee hee, look-at-em run." He said as he did a barrel roll and folded his wings in, hitting the ground at a roll to his feet and walking calmly along down the streets whistling to himself. He had a small bit of harmless fun back there, but he really needed to keep on the down low for a bit. He would have others looking for him, once they fixed the dimensional gate that is. He gave a chuckle at the though of that sabotage.

"Now, where does a guy like me find a place to lay low for a while?" He muttered to himself as he walked through the streets.

[Neko~San]

Sage walked throught the streets when a strange smell hit her. It smelled like some kind of beast. She followed her nose towards the smell instead of the herbs she was looking for. There on one of the houses she saw him. A man with batlike wings and the smell. She watched him for a moment before she decicded to call him.
" Sir, if you wouldnt mind coming down here please?" She motioned for him to come down. She hoped he was friendly enough, for the people she had been around taday had taxed her patience.

[Jyo]

A he landed in his roll Kaylorn's finely tuned ears heard a request for him to come down.
A little too late for that request. He thought with a raised eyebrow as his left hand rose up and scratched his head at the base of one of his long horns. He looked over at the source oft he request and grinned as he walked over and looked her up an down.

"Well hello there, where have you been all my life." He said with a toothy grin. Kaylorn was a demon, but he found that humans interested him more than his own race for some reason, and he enjoyed being a flirt any time he came to this realm.
"I'm Kaylorn, can I help you with something?" He asked.

[Neko~San]

Sage saw the way he looked. He was only a demon, and she had seen many of thier kind.
" It seems you may need some help hiding yourself. Your scent gives it all away. She smiled a toothy grin. Her canines were sharp, showing what she was, a werewolf. She smelled the air again, looking for Kaylorns scent. It was strange, but nothing she couldnt handle.
" If you need some help, I would be happy to give it."

[Jyo]

Seeing the canines Kaylorn grinned.
Werewolf, they can be like humans, but some much better. He thought as the woman offered to help him. He raised an eyebrow again.

"I'll accept your help, and I can repay such help if you'de like." He said flashing a grin. Sure he came on a little strong, and it might cause friction. But he found it fun, and hey, you couldn't blame a guy for trying.

Seeing the canines Kaylorn grinned.
Werewolf, they can be like humans, but some much better. He thought as the woman offered to help him. He raised an eyebrow again.

"I'll accept your help, and I can repay such help if you'de like." He said flashing a grin. Sure he came on a little strong, and it might cause friction. But he found it fun, and hey, you couldn't blame a guy for trying.

Sage grinned back. With swift movements she changed into her wolf form. Her bronzy coat gleamed in the dying daylight. With a small movement of her head, she motioned for the demon to follow. She wove her way throught the streets, going to the place where she kept her stall. It was a small place, but the house connected to it was of a good size. She slipped through the doors, hoping Kaylorn would follow.

As the woman changed to her wolf worm Kaylorn couldn't help but enjoy the fact that nobody around seemed to care. His ancestors had told him of time where if a person was revealed as a werewolf they were hunted down.

Following her to the place she was leading him to Kaylorn walked through the doors and made sure they were closed behind him before leaning against a wall and flashing a smile.
"So not that I'm ungrateful, but why help me out? All you know about me is that I'm a demon and a flirt." He said as he scratched at the base of his horn again.

[Neko~San]

Sage quickly turned to her human form once more. She looked back at the demon.
" I am helping because I know there are a few scorpions around that would just love to have your head as a trophy. I help alot of people like you to make up for those I couldnt save long ago.: She turned from her and reached into her cubboards, pulling out a worrn mortar and pestle.
" I'm actually not in navalen much. I travel all over tragonia, selling my herbs, potions, and medicines. I like to help people." She was throwing a few random hebrs into the mortar, adding a bit of her magic as she went.

[Jyo]

Kaylorn gave a small nod in understanding.
"So you have a need to never let a past failure happen again. That's a better reason than most people I have met had for doing things." He replied. He had heard of this group called the scorpions during a few excursions in this realm. They didn't worry him too much, but he still liked avoiding them.

Walking over he looked at what the woman was doing while crouching to get a close look while keeping enough distance to stay out of the way. He wasn't really familiar with it, but he had seen some of the elders in his realm doing something similar.
"By the way, my name's Kaylorn." he said looking up at her and giving a grin.

[Neko~San]

" Sage" She replied. She moved the herbs around with the pestle, grinding them up.
" Go in that cubbard and pull out the grren bottle labeled ' rellion' and bring it here please." She continued to work, adding more and more herbs to the mortar. She started to sing to herself and the song laced the potion with her magic. It was an old song that the trees had taught her, a song about changing.

"Sure." Kaylorn said as he went to the cupboard and found the right bottle after a moment of looking through the bottles and then brought it over to Sage.

"That's an interesting name." he said as he handed the bottle over.
"I thought Sage was a title in your realm, I haven't heard it as a name." he said with a curious tone in his oddly musical voice. He was also just as curious about this thing that Sage was working on, but he figured he would find out if he just watched.

[Neko~San]

Sage smiled as he handed her the bottle.
" It is a title, for mages. I gues you could say I'm Sage the sage. My parents named me that because the first thing I did when I was born was cover myself with sage, by magic. I was a human mage once upon a time. When I was turned my magic only got stronger. I learned to use it in the medicines and potions I make." She uncorked the bottle and poured the contents in to the mortar, then stirred them around for a moment. Putting her ose closer she inhaled. It smells right. She told heself. With her magic she took the whole thing out of the mortar, and made it slip into a cobalt blue glass bottle.
" This is your ultimate weapon against the city." Sage told Kaylorn. She handed him the bottle.
" This will ot only make you smell human, but the magic in it with physically change you to look human, which is basicly you with out the wings and horns. It only takes about a spoonful, so this should last yu a very long time." She smiled, hoping he understood. She knew that when she got to talking about her herbs and things, she could really confuse people.

Kaylorn listened with a high degree of interest. The way she got her name was certainly more interesting than having a name simply given to them. Then she mentioned what the potion was for.

He backed away hearing this.
"Whoa whoa whoa, listen, it's not that I don't appreciate this, but I like looking like myself. If someone has a problem with what I am, they can just bringing it right up to me." He said flashing his fangs and holding up a clawed hand.

"I'm here to escape from my boring realm, not live hiding what I am." He said while his hand lowered.
"I'm thankful, honestly I am. But I don't think that I want to hide that way." He said before flashing a more friendly smile.
"That is an impressive concoction though, I must admit that." he added.

[Neko~San]

Sage sighed.
" Youre missing the point. I didnt say you had to use it all the time, just when the scorpions are after you. They put more stock in scent than looks. This will help you greatly. Its a once in a while thing, you know?" She was beconing a little impatient. The wear of the day was catching up, and so was shifting so many times. Diggin in her pocket she pulled out a small box of crystal candy. It smelled good and covered up the scent of Kaylorns worry, anger, and everything else.

[Jyo]

Kaylorn raised an eyebrow again and pondered this. He still didn't like the idea. Being what he was, he would rather tear anyone who came after him to pieces. He was quick and resilient and plain mean when forced to be,but he wasn't here to start trouble with groups.

He walked over and extended his hand.
"Alright then, thank you." He said as he accepted the blue bottle and held it up looking at it.
"Might as well give it a try." He said as he ingested the proper amount for the change and waited for the effects to set in.

[Neko~San]

Sage watched him down a bit of the potion. She could already smell the change in his scent. It was actually very funny to see. She knew what it felt like, having done this many times to hide her scent, but seeing the wings shrink and the horns fade was a new expeience.
" How do you feel at the moment?" She asked when the change was completed. The air in the room was charged with a bit of magic, but she swept it away with her thoughts. She could feel the bit of magic in him that had her distinct feel, and covered that.

[Jyo]

Kaylorn looked as the claws on his hands and feet shrank and became toenails instead. Soon by all effects he was human. It was certainly odd. Then Sage asked how he felt and it took him a moment. He was a little conflicted, it just didn't seem right. Being a human for a small amount of time would be odd.

"It feels different. No wings or claws, I feel heavy and vulnerable now." He said as he noticed that the musical echo that was his voice at least remain, talking in a different voice would have been very weird.
"It's not painful or anything, but not the best experience I've ever had, how did humans survive without claws or fangs for so long?" he asked as he looked around wondering if there was a mirror.

[Neko~San]

Sage pointed to the wall behind him, where there was a mirror.
" I don't know. Even I cant go too long with out changing. They are just born that way I guess, though I shoulnt be talking. Once upon a time I was human." She smiled as she started to clean up. The herbs she put in varios cubbards, and the bottle labeled rellion went back in its cubbard. She wshed the mortar and pestle.
Sniffing the air again she found all traces of Kaylorns normal scent gone.
" So, what is your area of expertise? I know about herbs and the like, and you know about?" She asked with her back turned, leaving it open for him to answer.

Kaylorn looked himself over in the mirror. Despite the fact he was now human in appearance, he could tell it had been him at one time. The eye color was the same, as was the hair and how it was styled. The lack of fangs and horns looked odd, and he wasn't purple now, but a tanned color of skin. Oddly enough he didn't look old like he thought he might. Maybe a person in his late teens or early twenties, he guessed that the potion copied a more relative age in some ways.

He looked over as Sage asked about what he knew.
"Not a lot to be honest." he said as he walked over to her and grinned.
"I'm something of a prankster though I was brought up to sow carnage and destruction and nothing else, that's why I left and came here. I didn't like it back home." He said as he stopped a few feet away and grinned.
"Though I've been in this realm a few times and I've learned a few tricks about being good company for a woman." He said with a chuckle.
"I do happen to be a fast learner though, so if you show me the basics of something I can learn it pretty damn fast." he said.
