Tyzthen's tail was unders his long trousers now and his normal armour and dress shirt had een stowed away in his pack in favour of a fur pakra (think native amercian style poncho and your close) and fur trousers to match. He was here with his new studen and friend. His house lay in the mountains but the irrating part was the snow. Sure he could of teleported with the girl to his house but that would have just been lazy. He sighed loudly and a breath of cool air followed out of his mouth. At least he could keep up the shield of heat round him to stop the cold reaching him. He remembered meeting Robert here again. He'd said something about someone he might like to meet. He didn't refuse his young friend but told him to wait for him at his house. Carrying on at a brisk martch through the snow he tread up towards the base of the hill and loooked up at each induvidual ledge. This is do-able he thought to himself as he waited for his friend to catch up.

Vivia flew above the tips of the Tierra Peaks. Looking for the girl she had met a few nights ago. The girl had a strange power that Vivia had not ever seen before. The girl sucked the power from her friend. Luckily, she gave it back, but Vivia wouldn't forgive her until she was dead and in an ice cold grave. Vivia dodged a rock slide coming down a snowy mountain and she saw two figure hiking in the distance. Vivia shot toward a tree and rested in the branches as she looked down on them. Her body's usual dim, black glow became darker as she espied the young girl.
Analeigh trudged through the high snow. A week and still no inspiration. She couldn't believe it. Has her artistic career collapsed? She sighed as she trudged through the snow. She supposed that she would go back to the inn and get her zoomer. She had to go back to the Water fall Cayon...the cold wasn't settling well with her. She pulled her scarf around her neck tighter as her long hair blew in the icy wind.

Hikitsu slowly walked through the thick snow, hating eerymoment of it. Her feet were cold, and she could do nothing about it at the moment. It was as if her power had abandoned her. She moved in her heavy jacked, chilled to the bone and miserable. She had known becoming Tyzthen's student would entail many new dangerous things, but she had never imagined that she would be so deep in the cold and snow. She shivered again, looking deep into herself, trying to find her well of magic. It was as if it had just diappeared. She shivered more, unsure what to do but keep moving. " Tyzthen, how much farther do you think we must travel? I do not mean to complain, but i do not think I have ever traveled so far." Her voice was a tad louder than usual, something she had been trying to work on since she could never be heard. She moved closer to his bubble of heat, knowing she could at least use her unattainable magic to expand it around her. She understood the feel of Tyzthens magic that she could most likely do anything, but she wouldn't since she was the one learning. Her teeth were chattering, and she moved closer, only to be reppelled. She was thrown back five or six feet into a deep embankment of snow where she lay, cold and very unhappy.

Tyzthen laughed, a pure warmed hearted laugh.
"Well if you must know the house if up there" He pointed up the convienientl placed ledges up the mountain to a small crevice we're smoke was coming out of a log cabin good that means Robert got there fine.
"I hope you know how to use magic to make yourself levitate cause otherwise your stuck down here" He said with a straight face, but then he raised a half human hand to stop her talking.
"I know your magic is gone at the moment, I sensed it awhile back it's to do with your physical endurance if your in extreme weather and your body is suffering then your magic is affected. Thats why I live here it's constant training as for your magic" He took his hand back and using his right hand removed a ring with an opal with it in his hand
"I had a hunch this might be a problem for you so this ringhas enough energy stored from me to allow you to fly up the hill side or at least do something. Teleportation I do not reccomend in these locations, the blizzards constanty change the surrounding and a rule of teleportation is that you must have seen the place your going to."
Turning around he focused back on the ledges infront of him, he let his tail fall out the hole in the back of his trousers, he would need it for balance. Then with the grace of Kistune blood and his magic he leaped into the air and landed in crouched position on the first ledge, a good 30-40ft in the air. "Well hurry up then" He shouted down.

At that moment, Hikitsu got very angry.. All the snow withine a ten foot radius melted as heat burst from around her. She stood up, eyes blazing and the circles on her head glowing blindingly. " No teleportation my left foot!" She pulled in a breath of cold air, to try to calm herself, and she was gone. The next moment she appeared on the top of the ridge. She took a step forward, the glow leaving her as well as any energy she had left. She collapsed on the ground, one though rolling through her mind. Why did they choose me . . . . . . .

Tyzthen watched through his demon eyesight at the magic she used to teleport to the top. The the astral plane there was a bright spark were she'd overused her magic. He sighed. First lesson to teach her is control, emotions mess up magic as much as they can help it. Speeding up the process Tyzthen jumped with arial grace from ridge to ridge and landed with a thud when he hit the top. The snow around him going nicely up in the air. He saw Hikitsu passed out on the floor. He smiled, she kinda reminded him of himself when he was younger... much much younger 'bout 70 years younger. He picked her up and slung her onto his shoulder and tredded on the frozen cobblestone up to his wooden house. He knocked on it and wasn't supprised when Robert Rowanwood stood in the doorway.
''bout time Ty and who's the girl?"
"A student now clear the way" Tyzthen walked past his friend and headed past the wooden furniture to the main bedroom. He set her down ontop of the covers and removed her coat and left it on the rack in the room. He left the door open and went back to the main room to talk with Robert. He explained all that had happened to him and as if on queue the neko witch he'd told him about appeared by his side. Tyzthen on the outside remianed emotionless but inside....Aww fuck, this is going to be a long night.

Hikitsu was no longer cold, but she felt as if she were standing in the center of a deep well of icy cold, clear water. She could see a small spark in the center of the well, a greeny blue color, and all sorts of clolrs around it. Thats my magic. No wonder I feel so terrible. I almost killed myself. She swam through the cold waters back to the warmth of her body. It was warm, and she no longer felt the wieght of her coat. She slowly sat up, hearing a few voices nearby. Hikitsu stood up, brushing herself and straightening her shirt. She slowly walked out the door, seeing Tyzthen and another person she knew only by name. " Lihi Robert Rowanwood. We are well met." She stumbled over her words slightly, not rembering the greeting she was supposed to be using. She slipped back into her old speech patterns.

Analeigh started to grow cold. The winter was never something she had grown to like. Why did I even bother coming out here? I must be losing my mind! She screamed in her head. She wanted to speed up, but her power was becoming weaker as her strength was against the cold winds. Analeigh finally gathered up enough strength to start charging fast as she kicked up snow as her feet ran 100 miles per hour. Then, she suddenly stopped in a snow covered forest. She could sense a presence she had only sensed one time before. Another werewolf...she thought. She wasn't sure if it was a wereolf she knew. But even so, maybe whoever they are could help her out. Her senses were messed up due to the cold weather and she hadn't changed in over a week. She started toward where the sense lead her.
Vivia cursed the wind as she flew above the blizzard as snow flakes hit against her face. She never got cold for her blood ran cold and vile. She started to flow down and searched the trees. She finally stopped and saw some lights. "A house." She muttered. She stopped and closed her eyes and tried to sense the demon and the girl she had been trying to follow. "That is definitely them." She nodded and darted toward the ground for the house.

Hikitsu didn't bother to reply, but walked over to the fire, sticking her hands completely in the bright flames. " Ah, blessed warmth. It is just too cold here. I do not understand how this willl help magic. It feels almost as if I will never be able to use it again." She took herhands out, placing them over the slightly glowing circles over her eyes. She sighed, and walked over to the window, looking how deep the snow was. I will do that last. She thought to herself. She looked around for a small plant, finding one and picking a leaf. She held it until it was crumpled and brown. She smiled, and went to the door. Wind and water. Why must it be because of the cold? She stepped out the door into the cold, closing off her mind so that she could soak up the pure elements without her magic tainting them.

Tyzthen continued to talk and become so involved with the old stories that his friend Robert and his follower(?) Aries talked about. So much so that he didn't here Hikitsu leave the house. Well, not until he felt the cold air rush inside and prick up the fine hair/fur on his skin. She recovered rather quickly, but she's still a novice he grinned and almost doubbled over laughing Earth mother, I sound just like old Kytzthen don't I mutter on, but he knew that if his old master could see him now he'd be proud. He yelled into the house to Robert and Aries to prepare some dinner as the winter night was begining to settle in. Clousing the wooden, but magically warded, door behind him he set out into the open ledge of the enclave where his house rested. His spear was strapped to his back. He never ventured out into the ice without it, it helped with balance, climbing and was an extremely useful weapon. So looking out onto the small tundra on the ledge he quickly spotted Hikitsu.
"Your first lesson. It seems from your display of potential at the bottom of the mountain, is control. Mental, Phyisical and emotional." He stood there waiting to be aknowledged by his student.

Hikitsu nodded, soaking up the elements. She still had her mind shielded, so that she wouldn't contaminate the air before she was finished. She took in one more breath, and then her mind wander to her well of magic. She could see it swirling, the four elements balanced out one more. " Yes, that is something I should be working on. I was never give the option of control, only powered by fear and the promise of not being killed." She smiled at him, and tried not to let the terrible memories overtake her. She moved closer to Tyzthen feeling the warmth slowly fading from him as he stood longer in the cold air. She took in a huge breath, the smell of cold air and his scent mixing to make a very strange scent. The wild magic in the mountain was in every inch of the wind, and it gave her a heady feeling. She closed off her mind, feeling only herself, and where Tyzthen was, so that she wouldn't get lost in the blinding snow. " So, how shall you be teaching me control?" She asked, projecting her voice more mentally than physically.

Tyzthen began to recall what his master had taughts him 70 odd years ago. When he began to feel it all come back to him he began to speak. "Control is 3 things. Your Physical, Mental and Spiritual control. All these mastered can make any sort of spellcaster more powerful than they ever imagined. However these take years to achieve so most settle for an acceptable level" He could feel himself repeating the words of Kyzthen again. "The first is physical control for which I have the perfect exercise."
The snow began to pick up almost to the point where he could feel the mental contact begin to strain.
"First you will sit here in the snow and without using magic heat you body up so it can stand the temperature. Don't worry if you don't succeed it takes months to get it right."
Tyzthen took off his jacket and lay it near the front door of his lodge. He came back and sat on the floor next to his apprentice and closed his eyes.
"Well...Give it ago"

Hikitsu nodded. She looked deep into herself, finding her well of magic. She looked at it, imagining a stone over it, blocking it off. The effect was immidiate, she hitched her breath as all her magic drained away from her. It was so cold out, that shef elt that she would die in moment, but it was not so. She sat down in the thick snow, wondering how to do this. Physical control was what she was after, but she had no sense of control. She looked at her body, wondering how she could warm helself without magic. Then, she got an idea. She didn't move in a huge way, but pulled on someof her muscles making them flex. She was using p energy, but she was a little warmer than before. She continued in a pattern, not even aware of her physical surroundings. She was in a quiet place in her mind, the place she had always gone when They left her alone. It was a quiet place, with a small creek trickling beside her. A warm breeze blew on her face, shaking her hair loose. She wodered if this what was she was after. It was so calm here, she decided that maybe this was better than the cold snow. Definitely cold. And ther was no magic here. It was an empty place of raw beauty, and it was just so quiet, and peaceful. And then a snowflake fell on her nose. And another, and more. The wind picked up, and the sun went away. It was dark, and cold, and she was scared. This was worse than what They did. It was so cold, colder than she had ever felt. She felt as if she was freezing, felt as if her blood had started to stop moving. It was scary. She tried to move, but couldn't. She was stuck n place. Maybe forever.

Tyzthen was aware when he began to feel Hikitsu's body stiffen. He would have to end the training seesion for today. She lasted about as long as he did on his first try so he was quite impressed. He stood up and brushed the snow of him and shook his red tail befor the snow could settl on it. He went back to the front door and picked up his jacket. Stiding back over to Hikitsu he place the jacket over her shoulder in an attempt to warm her. Then he placed the hand on her head and whispered not in the demon language this time; but in the arcane. He created a bubble of heat around her meling the snow that got near her before it touched. He stood back annd laughed.
"Well at least we know were we need to start"He put his hand/paw out, which was rough on the inside but had verry fine fur on the outside, to her.

Warmth flooded into her limbs, and Hikitsu could feel her lifes blood flowing once more. It was still cold out, but Tyzthens magic was keeping her from freezing. She got up, her body stiff. She reached for her magic, only to double over choking. It was still closed off. She shook herself, shuddering, and went inside. It was nice in there, warmth seeping into her bones. She looked around for Robert, wondering where he was. She had a friend who was a werewolf, and she wondered if Robert knew her.

Tyzthen chatted to Robert while Aries made herself bussy in the kitchen preparing a soup for the guests. Tyztehn couldn't remember the last time that life was this easy for him. It felt nice to just lay on the sofa chatting to old friends. But he began to yawn. He hadn't slept in 2 days his keeping guard of Hikitsu during the nights of their travels here had been easy but it was starting to catch up with him. Robert nodded to his old pal and pulled out the brown sofa into a bed. Tyzthen lay down on it and curled his tail round himself. Sometimes he thought, that his bitch of a Kistune mother really had it going.... ********
Robert looked up from his friend and turned to see Hikitsu standing in the doorway looking in. "He's asleep, he's stubborn old bastard and won't admit when he stretched himself out to much. But don't worry he'll be fine in an hour or two." He moved over on his sofa to allow room for Hikitsu to sit down. The oak table in the middle was cluttered with cuttlery from an earlier meal Robert had. He maintained a quite grin about his werewolf metabolism and poured himself from the pitcher some more broth into his bowl.
"Help yourself, Aries is whipping up another batch and she'll be gone in two days. She has business with the Fae.

Hikitsu sat next to Robert. She took a drink and sighed, preferring the warmth of the inside. " Robert, do you know a woman by the name of Sage Zivaen? I know not all of the wolves know each other, but I know her. I wanted to know if you did too." She gave a small smile, and looked toward the kitchen where Aries was. She had an interesting scent, and it intrigued her.

Laughter rolled off Robert's tounge as her heard her ask about Sage.
"Of course I know about her dear girl. I know of all the wolves who commit to the pack or all the members who commit themselves to it who are not human. Sage, I ran into her while she was collecting herbs. I'm here to ask Tyzthen to come with me back to the forest to help her with her crafts." "Though however it seems that Tyzthen found himself his own little family anyway." He looked directly at the girl next to him.

Hikitsu lost her smile at that moment as thoughts raced through her head. Dark thoughts that had always haunted her. No, not family. It can't be. Family gets hurt, killed even. Images of the scientists swam in her vision, and her eyes blurred with tears. She shook her head, getting up and going into the kitchen where Robert woudn't see her. It is an apprenticeship only. No family. I cannot. What if, what if they survived. What if they found me. Everyone would perish, and it would be my fault. She looked out the window into the snows. The cold snows where little life was born, only taken. She tried to calm herself, but her old fears resurfaced. She could smell her own fear, a strong acrid scent that burned her nose. She tried to stop, but her body shivered, the same reaction as always.

Robert was confused when Hikitsu got up without saying a word. He may be a man in apperance and mind. But at heart and physically he was still 16. He should have left her alone to decide what she was going to do. He felt Aries prescence leave the house. She'd obvioulsy gone back to see Darren. Robert got out of the chair and followed Hikitsu's scent to the kitchen. From his point of view she was a very pettite thing and he could smell the salt from the tears and her fear. Though he blood shot eyes gave it away that she'd been crying.
"Look, I'm uh sorry if what I said offended you. I won't mention it again everyone has their own demons to deal with and though he may not look it Tyzthen is losing his humanity slowly, helping you is slowly stopping it. Let me know if you want to hear it or ask him when he wakes up. Though don't bet on a clear answer from him."
Robert walked straight back our the kitchen to the living room and look at Tyzthen's sleeping body on the fold out bed.
My friend what have you gotten yourself into, but if it was she is anything like Kyzthen was to you she'll be either the death of him or his saviour.
As if hearing his thoughts he heard Tyzthen mutter slowly in his sleep.
"Kyzthen...."
