Hikitsu listened to Robert and watched as he left. She was still trying to calm herself. She felt terrible for thinking the things she did, but she didn't want to hurt anyone else. It would break her completely to see someone else die because of who she was.
" Wait, Robert!" She wiped tears on her sleeve and walked out, following Robert. She looked at him watching Tyzthen.
" I need help. I... I've never had anything like a family since... a long time ago. They took everything from me, and I stopped trying. I don't want to hurt him by just being here. So many people have died because of me, and I don't think that I could take anymore." She looked at Tyzthen, knowing she could have a friend, but so unsure about it.
" Please help me. I just don't know what to do anymore. Its just been... so long since I tried to have anything."

The laughter was gone from his face all replaced by seriousness.
"Then you had better learn how to try. Physically he can can take of himself. Mentally he's perfect but emotionally his walls will break soon. He always wishes himself more Kistune than demon but at the moment he's behaving like a Demon. Him taking you under his 'wing' was a Kistune thing. You going to need to help each other. Your going to need to learn to fight, to stand up for yourself, to...."
Robert stopped as he realised that he was repeating what he said to himself so many years ago when faced with his family.
"It's a hard battle" the softness returned to his voice. "But it's one people such as ourselves go through. We either come out a stronger person or lose are fighting spirit. I hope.... Nevermind."
He stopped he had nothing left to say. So instead let his actions speak louder than his words. He reached over to Hikitsu and pulled her into a hug.
"I've got to go. May the spirit of nature watch over you kid. I like you."
With that Robert walked out the door and jumped down off the ledge of the cliff. He kept himself at an angle so that he could break the fall easy. He landed in a roll and sprinted in the direction of home.

Hikitsu gratefully accepted the hug, taking his words to heart. [i Learn to be stronger. [/i] She broke away as Robert left, letting in a flash of cold air.
She sat down on a chair near the fire, thinking. She needed to become stronger hten, in more than one way. Physically, she was as strong as everything and anything, but that was something she didn't use. Mentally, she was weaker than a newborn kiten. Emotionally, she was nothing. She had no way to even control the emotions she had only recently aquired. Before she left she had no other feelings but fear and pain. She hung her head.
" Maybe I should have syayed away. Maybe it would have been better for everyone is I too had been killed in the explosion." She murmered to herself.
