On Ages we allow you to create packs and covens for your vampires and other races.
This is done through the use of "influence", you can see your current influence points in your miniprofile. You gain two influence points per post by RPing and doing various other things around the website.
Any pack can claim a territory. The pack/group leader will usually be the one to buy the territory with his/hers influence.If there is an agreement you may have another person who is rping a character in your pack/group help you pay for a certain territory to control . This will likely be nessesarily in order to claim some of the most important territories in Navalen and Zaitonia.
Any character can also make a challenge - an attempt to claim a territory that's already been taken for themselves. During a challenge, both the challenger and current territory holder PM the admin or a mod in a simple, "rock, paper, scissors" game. The winner will own the territory.

The game used to decide the victor of a territory challenge is "rock, paper, scissors".

Each participant PMs the same staff member with one of the three terms, and the staff member will announce the results in return PMs. (See the sections below for more details on challenges.)
How To Claim An Open Territory
[1] Look at the prices here. If you'd like to buy a territory, fill out the code in that thread and post it. Staff will later subtract the appropriate amount of influence points from your account, and list "claimed by (your pack's name here), in the board title for the territory you just claimed.
[2] After you post the code (you don't have to wait for your points to be deducted) make a topic within the territory that you have claimed. Such as Claimed by:( Your pack/group name here)
How To Claim An Already Taken Territory (Make A Challenge)
[1] After looking at the territory prices in this topic, and making sure that you have enough points to claim your desired territory, make a reply in the "CLAIMED" topic that the original territory owner posted. Please post in character in this topic since it is in the rp board. State that you are making a challenge, and state which staff member you are going to PM.
[2] After that, simply PM the staff member you said that you would with your choice of either "rock", "paper", or "scissors". As soon as this PM is received the staff member will deduct the appropriate number of influence points from your account.
[3] After both your PM and that of your opponent are received, the staff member will determine the winner. If you win, the territory is now yours. If the current owner never responds, you win by default. If it's a tie, the staff member will ask you both to send another PM.
[4] Even if you win the territory I ask that you Role play it out in the "CLAIMED" topic. After that you may post your own thread Claimed by (Your pack name here)
How To Respond To A Challege
[1] If you are the current owner and someone posts a challenge in the "CLAIMED" topic, be sure to respond as soon as you can, and PM the same staff member that they did. The rules are the same for both the challenger and respondent.
[2] The only difference is that you wont have any influence points deducted, regardless of whether you win or lose, as you have already paid for the territory. However, if you do lose, you wont get any of the points you originally spent back, either.
