Deep in the heart of Cyrodiil...
It is late in the fourth era. The Oblivion Crisis has already passed from the halls of memory and into the pages of legend. Titus Mede sits on the throne as Emperor, having claimed the title by force some years ago. His rule is mostly just and fair. There is some semblance of peace throughout the lands. The Daedra are feared no longer.
...the lines between the mortal and immortal planes...
Something is stirring in the shadows. Whispers of a new threat skirt through prison cells and back alleys. They tell of a group called the Dark Deliverance. Their plan, known only by a handful of people, is to bring the sixteen Daedric princes to Cyrodiil through the use of mortal bodies known as vessels.
...are about to be destroyed, The only ones who can stop the Daedra from claiming the mortal world as their own are the people in the dregs of society, the ones low enough to hear the whispers, and wary enough to believe them. Thieves, murderers, scourges, and outcasts; all will have to join together if they plan to keep the mortal coil in balance and save Nirn from becoming a new kind of hell. But they won't be able to do it on their own. They're going to need a little Divine intervention.
AGAIN. Perhaps the world is doomed, after all.
