Katrina put her hand down from her neck when Jyo mentioned it. "Oh, no. I'm fine. It just hurts a little. Nothing to fret about." She shrugged.
Katrina has had many injuries before. She wasn't going to worry about a sore neck. It'll stop hurting soon, Katrina thought to herself. She put the hand she was rubbing her neck with in the pocket of the jacket and continued to walk with Jyo.

"Alright then, it's just that a neck injury can cause a lot of problem, but if you're just sore. Well it's not a surprise" He said. Jyo would leave it at that. After all, the girl had been tackled pretty hard. Jyo figured if he had been hit full force it could have likely knocked the wind out of him.
"Well Vampire attacks aside this has been a very pleasant evening. We even get to see the sunrise." He said as they progressed. And indeed the first rays of the sun were showing along the horizon. "I hope your friend was expecting you back after the sun started coming up." Jyo said.

Katrina looked as Jyo mentioned the sunrise. "Yes, it is very pretty." She commented. "And this has been a very pleasant night." Katrina agreed.
She was glad she got to share it with Jyo. He was very nice and had saved her, not one but two times. Once when she was stuck on the lighthouse tower and another when the vampire attacked her.
She was also happy about him coming to her birthday and traveling with her. The companionship on the way back to the waste would be great to have. Overall, she was just happy she had met him.
"Taeloc wouldn't mind if I'm a little late." Katrina told him. "Her house is just down here." She told him, pulling to the left.

Jyo smiled as he let Katrina guide him along the right way to get to Taeloc's home. He had felt the evening seemed just a little too short for his tastes, but he didn't let it bother him too much. he would see her on her birthday, and they would have a nice trip out to the waste.
Jyo went quiet for the rest of the trip. he liked talking to Katrina, but there was also something nice about doing nothing more than simply enjoying the company of another without having to say anything.

The rest of the trip was quiet until Katrina spotted Taeloc's house and walked up to the door. The house was dark, so Katrina knew Taeloc had not gotten up yet. She slipped her arm out of Jyo's and turned to face him. "Thank you, Jyo. For everything." She told him, sincerely.
"I'll see you in two days?" She reminded him. She remembered she had his jacket on. She slipped it off. "And here's you jacket." She handed him the jacket.
Katrina hated that the night had to end. Her conversation with Jyo was the most decent conversation she has probably ever had. She looked up at Jyo, waiting for his response.

Jyo gave a small smile as he gave a small bow at the hip. "It was my pleasure." He replied before standing strait again and flashing a grin.
"Two days." he said as he took the jacket and purposefully let his fingers brush hers and linger there for a moment. "I promise." He added as he let his hand slide away with the jacket before slipping it on. The slight tear wouldn't be an issue. The jacket had suffered much worse over it's time worn on Jyo.
He reached out and gently took one of her hands in both of his. "Until we meet again..." He planted a quick kiss on the back of her hand and flashed a wink. "...I shall take my leave." He said as he let the hand go and took a step back. He would wait for a goodbye, or for Katrina to enter the house before he left.

Katrina blushed as he kissed her hand. "Good bye, Jyo." She smiled. The door was open, since Taeloc knew she was coming. She pushed the door open, while shooting Jyo one last smile. She walked into the dark house, it was warmer then it was outside, and closed the door.
She sighed. She almost couldn't believe all that had happened in one small night. Katrina brushed her bangs up and then let them fall back.
She went down the small hallway to Taeloc's room. She was still sleeping. Katrina quietly made her way back to the door and looked out the small window to the right of it.

Jyo returned the final smile Katrina gave him and waited until she was inside before turning on his heel and walking off to find where he would stay for a little while. One disadvantage to being a drifter, one didn't have a roof over their heads at all times. he figured he would go get his jacket fixed up.
Stopping for a moment, Jyo looked back at the house for a moment and then smiled softly as he looked away and continued about his way. In two days they would get to meet again. He was looking forward to it.

Katrina watched as Jyo walked down alone. She stood up and quietly made her way to the guest bedroom where she usually stays. She opened the door and walked in. She sat down on the bed and stared out the window, where the first rays of sun were shining in. She kinda wished she had more time with Jyo, but they would see each other again. She tried to remind herself. She couldn't help but think about him though.
