The Zationian Library

[Evey]

Zeke stood at the stairs and looked over at the man who had commented on his sword skills. Sure he wasn't much of a fighter, he was more of a friendly man but he had encounters with raiders and other Navalins. With a determind look on his face he smiled at the man. "You better belief I know how to use this thing, those Navalins won't know what hit 'em." Smileing he tighter hold on his sword and looked around to the room of people around him. I will protect them. He swore silently to himself as he listined cautously to the echoing sounds of footsteps and yells comeing from the library below.

[Jyo]

Jyo gave a chuckle at Zeke's response
"Well I'm glad to hear that, I'm good, but not that good." he said as the first wave of raiders arrived. Six of them in this group. Jyo readied himself.
I don't like these odds, but i can't just hide and do nothing. he thought as he jumped at an enemy. His sword came down in a powerful slash that cleaved his foe in two while he went into a roll to avoid an attack sent at his head.

When he got to his feet, Jyo let loose a bolt of lightning from his sword and it slammed into the chest of a raider and it sent the man flying back into another raider, that took care of three. Jyo allowed a brief moment to let himself see how Zeke and the others were doing.

Echo saw the raiders and blasted one right in the middle of the chest. Echo looked over as she heard the small ottsel. "If you didn't want to hide in here, why are you even here?" She hissed.

"Well," Trisha folded her arms as she stood by the window. "we didn't know that raiders would be attacking the library!" She screamed. She sighed. She watched the three humans fighting off the raiders. She grunted in frustration. She wanted to help.

She decided to use her power. She ran down the stairs and stood by the two men. She focused and locked her glance onto a raider. Soon, the raider was being strangled by Trisha's thoughts. She laughed as he fell to the ground. She ran back up the stairs to join her sister. Her work was done.

Echo was surprised when a man was literally being strangled. It must have been magic...or something, Echo thought. She blasted two more raiders to the ground. She hoped that was all of the raiders. Echo walked slowly to the window. The streets were empty except for some raiders, Zationians and...some dead bodies. Echo gulped and stood her guard with the gun up in front of her.

Tess gulped as the fight continued. she sighed and jumped down from stack of books. Tess got nervous easily and these constant raids were not helping her weak stomach.

Tess looked out of the window into the streets of Zationia. People were dying on the streets. Tess gulped and suddenly felt them dying. I have to help them, Tess told herself.

She walked around the dusty attic to look for a hole or something she could get out of. Tess ran her hand across the dusty wall of the far side of the attic. She found another window that was open. Tess quickly jumped out of it.

Tess climbed down the library walls and went over to a wounded man laing on the ground. She started to heal him.

[Evey]

Zeke could feel the emotions of all of the raiders as their lifes were taken by the other people in the room and that was what was making him uneasy and slow in his movements. He couldn't concentrate on the enemys, and by the time he did they were already laying dead on the ground. In frustration he bit his lip and watched as another wave of a half dozen raders charged up the hallway.

He swong his sword closeing his eyes, he could feel the emotions of the man run out. With a swift kick to the gut he nocked one of the men down the steep flight of stairs into the few raider waiting at the bottem. Damn it why can't it be easy enough to turn this thing off! He thought remembering the other raiders who had attacked his ship, he felt their emotions run out of them the same way he had felt these mens. But it was different, 'cause those men . . . Zeke looked down at the fallen raiders trying to get up in a frenzy of movement. They tried to hurt my family.

Tess started to run thought the streets and heal people as fast as she could. She breathed heavily and stopped behind a bench to catch her breath.

Jada ducked a large missile fire from a Navalin raider. Her zoomer had been shot down and her leg was scraped badly. She got out her stun gun and limped her way through the streets trying to find shelter from the raiders.

She finally found the library, which Navalin raiders were pouring into. She started to stun them all and fight the best she could on her bad leg. She finally tore through them into the library and ran as far as she could in the maze of bookshelves.

Tess made her way back to the library, healing as many people as she could. She had to get back to Trisha before it was too late.

Trisha jumped when she found Tess standing behind her. "Ahh! Will you stop that? Your givin' me the creeps!" Trisha yelled. The raid was starting to die down now,. The raiders had been chased out. Trisha still stared out the closed window though.

Echo shot raiders left and right. They never stop coming!!! Echo screamed in her mind. Blood had been spraying on her hair and clothes. This wasn't her day.

[Jyo]

Jyo took a moment and saw that others had joined in the battle, but the odds were still against them.
Damn, this is so frustrating, I just got home. he thought as he parried a blow sent at him with his sheathe and stabbed the attacker before kicking him off the blade into one of his comrades.

Jyo hadn't fought a large scale battle like this before, and he wasn't sure if they could make it through this. But he knew that he wasn't planning to go down like this. He was going o crush anyone coming near him.

Ducking and weaving through enemies, Jyo struck people down and simply moved on, he was in full combat mode. In his head, there weren't people he was fighting, they were simply targets that fought back. Building up another charge, jyo sent a bolt of lightning through a line of foes and then jumped back as a blade nicked his right shoulder, not deep, but enough that the blood flowed freely. he barely noticed outside of the fact that his right arm would be a little slower now and he would simply have to compensate.

The lightning crackling around him was intense and his eyes looked glazed, like no one was home. he had been sprung into his combat mentality and he wasn't going to be coming back until the battle was over.

[Evey]

Mick staired into the colection of raiders, his blue eyes pulsateing with anger. He was sent back to the old battles he had partaken in, all the faces of his fallen comrads flashed in front of him. No more will die today. . . Loading his blaster rifle the laser site falling upon a unlucky raider he shot and reloaded as he ran through the crowd.

Zeke staired at the blood soaked staircase his sword held in front of him. He could remotely feel the bullet wound that he had gotten on one of the raids he had went on with Evey. I hope she is ok . . . He thought as he slashed through a raider, vacantly feeling the emotions run out of him as his blood dripped onto the floor.

Evey ran through the streets, her Eyes white with furry. "Hey you stupid Navalen swine!" She yelled over the sound of bullets and clashing swords. "Stop crituqeing are architechure and learn how to fight!" With a smile she watched as two raiders turned, holding their swords out in front of them.

" Say good night." Evey said running twoard them her staff in hand freezeing time as she jumped into the air and nocked her staff over the mans head. "Oops!" She excalmed as she turned to the other man and nocked him in the gut and jumped at him pinning him down with her staff.

"Your no fun if I do all the fighting."

Echo tried to stay calm as she blasted each raider she could see. Sweat was running down her face and blood was starting to splatter on her clothing.

Trisha stayed behind a stack of books as gunshots fired into the air. Tess finally joined her. "What the #%@# do you think your doing?" She screamed at the top of her lungs. "Where have you been?"

Echo saw a small object fly over her head and land a few feet behind her. She turned around quickly and looked at it. It was a grenade. Echo screamed as she grabbed the two ottsels by their ears and ran down the stair case. She felt the grenade explode and the force push sher through the library in mid air.

[Evey]

Zeke watched as Echo ran with the two ottsels down the stairs. Why are they . . . The attic exploded and Zekes mind went blank as he was hurtled down the stairs from the explosive force. Hitting the ground with a thud, his back was burned and so were his clothing, even his ponytail was singed away by the explosive blast. "Damn it . . ."

Evey looked up from the man she was wrestleing with to look at the explosion that hit the top of the library. In that breif moment she was nocked away from ontop of her oponant. "So you decided to livein' it up?" She asked as the man held her wrists to the ground pinning her to the ground. Clicking her fingers she stopped time, wiggleing free of the mans grip and standing up. Brushing herself off she griped her staff and let go of time.

"You just messed with the wrong person." Evey said as she stabbed the end of her staff throught the back of the man.

Jada was pushed back by a force from the library. She hit the Inner Wall, full force. Maybe Evey was right...She thought. She slid down the wall and landed on the ground, away from the center of the raid. She blacked out.

Tess flew from Echo's hands and landed outside the library in the middle of millions of raiders. Tess was scared and her heart was about to pump out of chest.

She looked for her sister...but she wasn't anywhere. "Trish!!!!!!!" She screamed. A sword came down toward her, Tess ran away on all fours, screaming for her sister.

Echo looked up from where she was. The ottsels had flown out of her hands. She was in the middle of a raid. A man picked her up and hit her with his staff. Echo came up and round kicked him. She turned around and started to run for the harbor. She was out of there.

Trisha shook her hand and got on her knees. She looked for Tess. She couldn't find her. "Tess!!!!!" She screamed. She started to run through the maze of raiders and Zationians.

[crackbaby]

Claudine stepped out of the bar in a good mood to find a raid in ablaze. She gasped. People were fighting and dying in an instance.

Claudine gulped and took her machete knife out of the pocket of her dress. She started her own fight, killing the raiders. She was never one to fight, but these raids were getting on her nerves. She has lived 245 years and this war was getting to be a huge pain.

[Jyo]

Jyo's sword had neatly sliced through another foe when the explosion sounded.
"Damn it all, now there are people setting off grenades. This is ridiculous." He muttered as he then ducked under a pole arm and had to leap to the side to avoid a spray of bullets.
"Enough!" He yelled as an electrical charge built up around him fiercely. He sheathed his weapon and raised his left hand up.
"DIE!" He screamed as bolts shot out from his hand.

Mercifully Jyo wasn't around his allies in battle. A twenty foot radius around him became so intensely electrified that those within in were quickly shocked to death and left blackened smoking corpses on the ground. Jyo gathered the currents of lightning around him into the palm of his up raised hand and let loose a torrent of electrified death through the library He made sure to avoid hitting his allies, though when it was done, roughly twenty five percent of the raiders inside the library were now dead.

Jyo pulled loose his sword once more and darted to his nearest foe.
"It appears that I shall be your reaper." He said as the blade flashed and cut through another man. Many had died, but the were still plenty left to destroy.

[Evey]

Evey pulled her blood soked staff out of the mans back and looked around the battle field to see that most of the Navalen's were retreating onto there windsailers and flying back twoards the dim outline of the city that they call home. With a satifide smile on her face she twirled her staff around, drops of blood scattering off and landing on the pavement below.

Looking around she noticed that the library still seemed to be skwirming with comotion. "More fun?" She asked herself as she wiped her brow with a jacket sleave. With a dark smile she ran towards the library her staff and eyes glowing as she entered the large door. Her light blue eyes scanned the library and she caught sight of a man zapping a circle of raiders. "wow . . ." She breathed as she watched not noticeing the one of the raiders shooting from the balcony. A bullet hit her shoulder and she let out a yowl.

"Aww you messed with the wrong girl!"

Mick looked around seeing the Navalen's fill there windsailers and fly off into the skys. Good He thought as he shot some of the retreating Navalen's in the back. Hope they know better not to come back next time.

Zeke weekly tried to get up but his body wouldn't respond to his comands. "uggh" He moaned as he scanned the library watching the fight comence, wondering where his sword might have landed.

Tess ducked as a man's gun fell to the ground, and so did the man. Tess was tired of being helpless. She got out her small handgun and started to target Navalin raiders. She hit a few and then started her search for Trisha again.

Jada was woken up by a staff hitting her. A man was pointing a gun at her heart. Jada rose to action and kicked the gun out of his hands. Jada tazered the two men and stayed back away from the other raiders. She wondered if Evey was here. They had a huge fight a few hours ago. She saw her other by a convince store and she had gotten shot. "Evey!" Jada called, rushing over to her.

Echo tripped over another raider that had fallen from a hovering windsailer. Echo got up, kicked him and took a knife from his belt. She rushed into the crowd of raiders and started to fight again. Blood rippled in waves as Echo tore through the huge crowd as the number of raiders started to dwindle.
Trisha crawled up on a buildings drain pipe and stood on the edge, higher then the rest of everybody. She looked around for Tess, but couldn't see her. Finally, she spotted a small orange thing with blond hair weaving in and out of attacks. "Yes!" She whispered to herself and jumped down from the building.

[Jyo]

Jyo pulled his weapon from the chest of a raider and kicked at the corpse to send him flying into one of his allies which sent both raiders back into a wall. Though he hadn't fought large numbers like this, it seemed that these men were not skilled enough to make such numbers matter. many were starting to run as they had started to see that this was becoming a slaughter on their forces.

Starting to come out of full combat mode Jyo looked around, each person seemed to be holding their own, but then he spotted the person who had been standing at his side during the start of the fight. Running over to Zeke as a raider had arrived planning to put a sword through his back, Jyo sent out a bolt of lightning and sent the now blackened raider flying back.

"Hey, we need to get you out of here." Jyo said as he knelt down next to his now comrade. Jyo didn't really care who this man was or who he would become. Right now they were on the same side and this man needed help. Sheathing his sword, Jyo slipped his arm under the arms of the fallen warrior and helped him to his feet and made sure to take the man's weight and help him stand.
"Let's go." He said as he kept an eye out for attackers. If they could find the little creature with healing powers they would be in luck, but Jyo's concern was getting this person to relative safety.

[Evey]

Zeke could feel the electrictiy arching above his mangled body. He herd the thud as the mans body as he colided with one of the bookcases, the books scattering about onto the floor. With a grunt he saw the man who he had met on the staircase. With a faint smile he looked up at him.

Zeke let the man lift him up grunting a bit at the sudden movements. "Thank . . . you. . . " He said in a out of breath voice as the pain of the burn on his back made him cringe and grit his teeth.

"Hello Jada . . . " Evey growled as she staired up at the library balcony were her shooter was stationed. Her eyes were a fierce firey white color and a small smile came across her face as she noticed the mans movement. "Be back in a second, literaly." She said with a hollow ring to her voice. Snapping her fingers she froze time raced twoard the grand staircase that went up to the balconys. Biteing her lip as she felt the pain in her arm as well as the blood trickleing onto her jacket.

"And I just washed it!" Evey exclamed as she looked down the balcony noticeing the man with a blaster rife poised as he was getting another clip from his backpack. "Not for long . . ." Evey comentented as she stood over the man letting go of time as she did so.

"Say good night." And she swung her staff at his head.
