The Zationian Library

[Jyo]

"Don't mention it, not until we're out of this. I think the raiders are starting to retreat, but they have a decent amount of die-hards out there." Jyo replied as he supported Zeke and attempted to find some safe haven he could hide the mangled warrior.
Damn, what the hell was that being's name. Jyo thought. His best option would be to find the small ferret otter-like person with the healing powers and hope that her powers didn't drain her much. But he didn't remember her telling him her name.

A raider came in and Jyo thrust out his free arm and caught him by the throat before letting out a torrent of lightning through him and flinging him away crackling with discharge that stunned the raiders that the corpse crashed into.
"Damn, this isn't right." He muttered as his eyes narrowed once more.

Jyo had to force himself to calm down, his priority was this person he was helping, not defending his homeland, that could wait for a few minutes.
"Did you see if any of them had gotten to the storage rooms?" Jyo asked the wounded warrior as he helped Zeke to the storage area.

Claudine stopped in the middle of the raiders. she saw a huge blood stain on her white dress. "Lovely." She grumbled in anger. She put her knife in her pocket. She closed her eyes and let her wings appear. She flew up into the sky and boarded one of the windsailers.

She started tp throw the raiders off of the windsailer. The windsailer was empty and she started to steer the windsailer toward the harbor. They won't be going home anytime soon, Claudine laughed.

[Evey]

Damn Navalen scum Zeke thought as they made their way over to the library storerooms. Pain shot up his back with every step he took makeing him let out grunts and yelps. Feeling all of the emotions in the room, feeling peoples lives end as people died was makeing him feel nausous. Why? He asked himself angerly.

Shakeing his thoughts as Jyo asked him if he had seen anyone enter the storage areas. With his power of feeling emotions he concentrated on the rooms useing what was left of his energy to block the others from his mind. "Two." He replied to Jyo in a wery voice his strength was spent, he couldn't take much more of this battle.

Evey had a tryumphant smile on her face as she ran down the giand staircase, more blood added to her staff and clothing. She nocked another raider down the stairs as she went stabbing him with her staff before he could stand up when she reached the bottem. Sighing as she saw another raider try to slice her with his sword she paused time and continued walking not even bothering to strike the man.

Evey zigzaged through the fray and walked back over to Jada and unfroze time. "Ya miss me?" She asked with a smile as she looked around watching as the raiders continued to retreat from the library.

Jada looked at Evey and sighed. "You were right...this war does mean something." She told her. "Watch out!" She screamed bring Evey down to the ground as a man held up his gun and shot at them.

Tess looked and saw Trish come over to her. Suddenly Tess felt a tug. Someone was hurt...and someone she had healed was with him. Tess looked around and suddnely felt the need to go to a Storage rooms. Tess looked at Trish then darted for the Storage rooms.

Cherry groaned in annoyance. She was sitting in an abandoned store in the Inner City, trying to get some shut eye, when she head commotion outside. She tried to ignore it, but she couldn't. She pulled her trench coat on and pulled the hood up. She didn't like the sun, being a vampire and all.

She opened the door and looked from the hood to see a raid in full throttle. "Lovely." She muttered. She walked out, as she pulled the coat over her bare skin and started to grab hold of the raiders, and with her strength, throw them outside the walls.

Echo shanked a couple more raiders and made her way into the library. She sighed in defeat. This was her work, her life and half of the walls were blown to bits. She heard approaching footsteps and turned around to throw her knife. The knife landed on the raider's shoulder. Echo pulled the knife out of his shoulder and kicked him down the stairs.

Trisha made her way to Tess when she darted off in another direction. "What the hell are you doing??" She screamed. Trisha started to run after her.

[Jyo]

"Fine, two aren't an issue." Jyo said as he spotted the men that Zeke mentioned, twin bolts of lightning shot out and struck down the two men.

Jyo helped Zeke over and found the gun of a fallen raider. After Getting Zeke into a storage room and propping him against the wall.
"This is the best I can do for you." Jyo said as he placed the gun on Zeke's lap. He didn't know if Zeke could aim it in his condition, but it was better than leaving him unarmed.
"I'll come back and check on you. I swear it. If I don't that means I'm dead." He added before leaving and closing the door behind him.

Drawing his weapon once more his eyes gained their deadly focus and he returned to the battle.

[Evey]

"Thanks . . ." Zeke grumbled as he tried to grip the scatter gun in his hands. The shortranged weapon would be good in this close combat situation, if he was just able to hold it in his hands. Zeke was so weak and in so much pain that the simple task of gripping the gun and pressing down on the trigger was a troubbleing task.

Grunting, as he watched Jyo exit the room as he fumbled around with the scatter gun, hopeing no one would come after him in the storage rooms.

Evey dived to the ground and then gave a grin to Jada. "I hate to say . . . well not I actually, I told you so!"

"Don't get cocky, Evey." Jada hissed. "We're in a raid!" She exclaimed as she got up on her feet. She had bruises all over and both of her knees were badly scraped. "Hey, do you time-thing and get me a weapon from one of the raiders. Please." Jada added.

Tess passed the man she healed earlier in the raid. But it wasn't him who was hurt. She ran on all fours into the storage rooms and saw another man. "Hey, don't worry I can heal you." She put her paws on the man's shoulder and worked her healing powers. She backed up and saw his wounds healed. "Zeke?" She asked once she noticed who it was.

Cherry looked from under her hood to see the library in pieces. "Holy shit." She breathed. She ran up to the library and started to look at the damage. The books were scattered and the pages were falling like snow. Cherry ran down to the library's basement. Or what was left of it. Raiders were trying to open the vault. Cherry quickly went to their sides and snapped their necks.

Vivia brushed herself off as she flew in the air toward the noise. When she saw it was a raid, she quickly got excited. She dove to the ground and got out her iron spear. She started beating people to no end. Her black magic sent people flying back wards and crashing into glass windows. She laughed and saw a wind sailer in the sky. She flew up and saw the fairy steering it. "Fairy." She muttered with anger. She took her iron spear and lined it up to the fairy's heart and threw it.

Claudine gasped as she could fell the iron spear coming toward her. She turned around quickly and caught the spear with her left hand. It burned her hand she screamed. She threw the spear off the wind sailer. She could see the other woman on the other end of the ship. She didn't know what she was. She seemed like a fairy, but was...part demon?

As Claudine stared at the woman, her wings appeared and she started to float above the wind sailer and no one was steering it. The wind sailer fell form the sky and landed in the Inner City. The crash snapped Claudine out of her trance and she screamed at her foolishness. She dove down and started to pull Zationians out from the wind sailer.

[echo]

Echo walked down the stairs disappointed and heartbroken. The raiders payed no mind to her as a vampire ran past her. Echo sighed and looked up at the sky. A wind sailer was twirling down toward the ground. Echos creamed and ran as far as she could. The wind sailer produced a huge crash and made the ground shake. At least it didn't hit the library....or what's left of it, Echo thought.

Trisha ran toward Tess and stopped when she heard the huge crash a couple of feet away. A ripple of shake hit and made Trisha fall to the ground. She shook the hair out of her face and saw the people running away and screaming. With a huge windsailer planted itself in front of the library. Trisha's jaw dropped. But no time of awe. She got up and started to look for Tess again.

Clark heard the huge crash outside her restaurant. She was holding a party there and she excused herself outside. She walked down a few streets and saw a huge raid in the library's square. She gasped.

She took off her heels and ran back to her restaurant. This was sher worse fear. The raids. She got to her restaurant and screamed that a raid was outside and for a lock down. She told everyone to stay here and she grabbed her staff and ran back to the library. She started to fight the filthy, Navalin raiders.

Errol heard over the com-links that a raid was in the Inner City. He wouldn't miss a raid. If there were vampires out, he could get good money for them too.

Errol climbed a building and mounted his crossbow. He put his bows on his back and angled his crossbow on Navalin raiders. he hit one right in the heart and another in the arm. As he was loading another bow, he noticed a woman with her hood up, dressed in a black trench coat. No skin showing. A vampire. Errol, slowly put his cross bow up and fired it at the vampire's heart.

[Evey]

Evey giggled a bit at the mention of her being in a raid. "I do this for a part time job Jada!" Evey said with a large grin. "Its like childsplay! And about your weapon. . . " Evey said trailing off as she looked around the library her eyes glowing a bright white. Clicking her fingers she watched as the comotion around her stopped. "Hmph. . ." She spotted a gun in a raiders hand and a sword laying on the ground.

"Well it seems to me that Zeke lost his sword. . . " Evey comented noticeing the rings that lined the bottem of the blade. "Ehhh he won't mind. . ." She said walking with the weapons back to where Jada's fozen body stood. Clicking her fingers and watching time pick up again Evey handed Jada both weapons. "I didn't know what kind you prefered. . . Look OUT!" Evey growled as a raider came with his sword in hand. Stabbing with the end of her staff at the man she let out a his as the mans blood sprayed onto her hands. "Do you mind not bleeding on me?" Evey asked kicking the mans dead body off the end of her staff.

Zeke felt the pain in his arm cease as the little ottsels paws worked there magic on his arm. When the girl mentoned his name he cocked his head to the side and looked at the fuzzy ottsel. "Wait I know you?"

Pulling his sword from a dead raider, Jyo had that feeling that people got when they noticed something focusing on them. He turned on his heel and for the first time in his life, he felt the stirrings of actual fear.

"Hello my dear foe, did you miss me?" Rastal said as he raised his hand and created a kinetic blast in front of the red hairdo swordsman. The young man responded by holding up his sword as if blocking an attack, a nice attempt, but it didn't work and the red head was blasted back through a group of raiders and into a wall before getting to his feet and with an expression of deathly calm on his face.
"Oh, so you're ready to face me? very well" Rastal said as he aimed his weapon and a torrent of lightning shot out from the gun and at Jyo.

Damn that blast hurt. Jyo thought before he allowed himself to completely slip into his combat mind set. The bolts shot out at him and his right hand went out to meet them, stopping the bolts and collecting them, he gave a small smirk and sent the bolts back at his opponent, the bolts hit the casing of the gun, not damaging it, but forcing Rastal to drop it. Jyo came in with his sword ready and slashed at his foe, Rastal raised a forearm and blocked the attack.
What the hell? Thought Jyo as his sword was held back.

Rastal grinned at his opponent, powerful forearm armor allowed him to fight unarmed against those with weapons, and the slightly confused look on Jyo's face amusing him, even if the confusion went away as quickly as it came. Rastal let out a grunt as a foot slammed into his gut, sending him back and near a woman with a staff who had just stabbed a raider and complained about the mess he made on her with his blood. A scowl formed on his face as he got to his feet as he ducked under a raiders attack and threw his hand out in a chopping motion to the man's trachea, he was dead before he hit the floor. This was more then enough, he wanted that bastard swordsman who was giving him so much trouble, and raiders along with Zatonians kept getting in his way. Fighting has way back to the library had been a hell of a thing to do.
"I'm sick of this. He said with a throaty growl as kinetic explosions started forming around him and then he threw out his arm, facing a group of raiders, they were hit by the concussive force and burst apart, showering a large part of the area in blood, bone and entrails.

Jyo had been quite busy himself after kicking Rastal away. Twelve raiders ha d surrounded him, all with melee weapons. Jyo's quick movements made his arm a blur and his sword only detectable by flashes of steel and the few times it was stopped during his blocks. Narrowing his eyes he let a charge build up again before jumping up and over his foes and sending down a torrent of lightning over them and landing near another group with the intent of tearing them apart, then he was caught in the blast while the men near him were torn apart, bathed in their blood he was sent flying int a bookshelf which collapsed upon him.

"Evey..." Jada droned as she took the gun from her hands. "Try not to get yourself killed. And thank you." Jada turned around just started to randomly blast Navalin raiders left and right.

Jada soon noticed the man fly into a bookshelf. She hit Evey on the arm. "Evey, look, we gotta help that guy." Jada kicked off her use less high heels and ran up the broken and torn steps of the library. Jada didn't have much strength, but she got the bookshelf up without Evey's help and let it fall over the other side. She knelled down to see the man covered in blood. "Oh my gosh..." She muttered, studying where people have nearly torn him apart.

Tess looked back up at Zeke. "I've seen ya once or twice at Raven's Bar and-" She stopped. "Why are we discussing this!? Just get out there!" Tess ran back, hoping to get Trisha.

Cherry made her way through the streets, snapping necks and not caring what the hell the guy's name was. Finally she saw someone off on a rooftop. She put her hands over her eyes so that the sun wouldn't hurt them. She could see faintly a crossbow in the man's hands. "Errol." She muttered. Suddenly an arrow was fired her way. Cherry caught it with her hand, millimeters away from her chest. "Nice try." She smirked.

Vivia jumped down form the wind sailer as she hovered in the air and watched it crash into the library. She had to hold her stomach because she laughed so hard. It brought a tear to her eyes. She wiped it away and looked around. "Eh, I've seen better raids. I'm outta here." She took off toward the Waste.

[Jyo]

Feeling the bookshelf lifted off of him, Jyo slowly got to his feet with his eyes narrowed while arcs of lightning jumped from his body.
"Thanks." He said while he picked up his sword. His body ached, but he was still able to fight.
"This is ridiculous, where our the soldiers of Zatonia?' He asked as he resumed his ready stance and scanned the battle.

[Evey]

Mick shot through the bergade and looked around the once clean streets, seeing the carnage of fallen Zationians and Navalens. Blood trailed down the streets as he whiped his brow, feeling the cold metal of his robotic arm wipe the sweat from his brow. He could feel blood trickleing from a gash under his right eye and he sighed deeply and watched as a windsailer crashed into the library.

"Oh no. . ." Mick wispered his eyes wide as he watched parts of the ceiling caveing in. Running twards the library, his robotic leg makeing clicking noises as he made his way to the clapseing library, his gun loaded and a determined look on his face as he shot into the crowd of Navalens.

"Your right. . ." Zeke said standing up and holding the scatter gun in his hand takeing a deep breath and ran out the door completely focusing on the battle and trying to ignore the feeling of peoples emotions blinking out of existance.

Evey sighed and ran over to the guy who had been crushed by the bookshelf and balanced her staff on her shoulder. "Eh, you don't look so good. . ." Evey said wipeing some blood from her brow. "You look like you just got like hit by a bookshelf or something. . ." She said sarcasticly as she scanned the area, seeing her brother run in with his gun blazeing.

Clark pulled her staff out of raider as blood dripped to the ground. Her dress had been covered with blood, but she didn't care. She looked around to see the destruction of Zationia. The library was pretty much gone, a wind sailer had crashed in the front of it...this was the worst raid in centuries.

"Damn." Errol hissed when he saw Cherry grabbed the bow. He had been chasing that vampire for weeks and she was getting extremely annoying. Errol turned and started to climb down form the building. He wanted to fight Cherry face to face.

Echo looked over to where a bookshelf had fallen on a man. She started to run to help when two other people and already gotten there. As a raider came up she stuck her knife into him and pulled it out as he collapsed dead behind her. The raiders were still fighting, and worse, still coming. Raiders were jumping from wind sailers hovering in the sky. Echo sighed as she slid a lock of her hair behind her ear.

Trisha ran up behind Tess. "Are you high???" She screamed. "We have to get the hell out of here before one of us gets killed!!" Trish screamed as a hoard of raiders started to jump down from a wind sailer. "Come on!" She ordered Tess as she started to run into one of the back alleys.

Jada gave Evey a look when she added her sarcastic statement. Jada saw Mick running through the battlefield. "Mick!" She called when he came into range.

Tess jumped when Trisha grabbed her arm. "But I-" Tess tried to explain what she did, but Trisha started to pull her into the back alley. Tess, scared shitless, ran after her with the raiders fighting behind them.

Cherry watched Errol climb down the building. She had no time for him, she turned a corner and took off down the street.
